Who's in the Bluebird House?
Owner, Leslie Gosselin, founded Bluebird Elder Move Solutions to support seniors in transition and their families after helping in-laws, parents, and struggling friends with life-changing moves.
With over 35 years of corporate and non-profit work experience in community relations, communications, customer service and marketing, Leslie has followed her entrepreneurial passion to make a difference where it really counts.

Leslie combines her natural flair for comfortable design and home organization to provide the caring and compassionate transition support seniors deserve when they need it most.
Our Bluebird family includes Marketing Coordinator, Mikayla Amundson and Move Coordinator, Royce Gosselin who are full of enthusiasm to help Leslie make every client feel at home.

When a recent client wanted to move to a new senior residence with more amenities, the Community Sales Director referred Bluebird Elder Move Solutions to assist. We managed the move, including final packing, and provided some resettling assistance such as installing the TV and art on his walls. We also procured a more comfortable bed and affordable furnishings for his new balcony. This required working with a Public Trustee for approval at every step and although she was hesitant to use our service for the first time, she understood her client needed some extra TLC .

While not a senior, Donna was slated for two major surgeries just when their dream house came up for sale. She and her husband hired Bluebird Elder Move Solutions to prepare for a move that required downsizing and removal of unwanted items as well as packing for a move they would co-ordinate. Then, with an unexpected wedding to be held in their new backyard, they had us come back to tame the post-move chaos in the 3 car garage and shed. In the dead of a winter cold snap we helped our client gradually move from his home of nearly 30 years to a spacious condo that offered a chance to start over in a healthy environment. As both a professional artist and art lover, his home was filled with thousands of delicate art pieces that were his pride and joy. He was moving from a home in desperate conditions that had been sold for tear down and was unable to physically or mentally manage his move. Over 5 weeks we worked at our client's pace, peeling away the layers, filling a huge bin for the landfill, and transferring items to the condo. We arranged for a new bed, dispersed excess furnishings, co-ordinated professional movers for large items, and helped with settling and organizing art and supplies at his new home. This was an extremely challenging project, but throughout the process we ensured the result was a happy client in a safe and clean new home. It was truly rewarding to see this life-changing transformation unfold.

This gentle woman was one of our first clients, and desperately in need of TLC. Her house was enormous and the task of preparing to move was daunting. She was all alone with no family support and coming out of a difficult and abusive marriage. We helped her organize unwanted furnishings so they could be safely viewed and sold. We also helped find buyers for furnishings and made space to store excess belongings in preparation for listing her home. She called us back to do a packing and clear out so that she could do listing photography. Once her home sells, Leslie will help with setting up her new home, and assist with the huge task of downsizing.
